The wait is finally over… Open Enrollment 2023 season is now LIVE! Thousands of insurance agents are now flooding their own social media pages with constant messages and posts. Should you be doing the same? Agility Agents are aware that quantity it’s not the same as quality. According to PepperContent, “content that drives traffic and eventually sells is quality content”. But other online sources could also debate that quantity beats quality when creating content for social media platforms like TikTok.

We believe that a predetermined content calendar plan combined with social media ads will help you reach the audience you’ve been dreaming about. Especially now that there’s so much noise online, only insurance agents that can create outstanding content will be able to outshine their direct competitors. To get you started on your content creation journey, we invite you to recreate the following 5 content pieces for the month of November.

1) Personalized Health Insurance Video

We are starting off our list with an “Open Enrollment Announcement” content piece. We’ve chosen to display your information in a video format because this type of content will surely boost your online engagement. Especially during a time that insurance agents are thinking of bombarding their followers with photo media; videos and GIF’s will set you apart from the rest.

If you do a quick hashtag search on Twitter or Instagram, you’ll witness a sea of static images. Nonetheless, the tweets or posts that you remembered might have had a video or GIF associated to it. With our FREE personalized health insurance video, your brand will likely capture the eyes of those searching for your specific services.

2) ObamaCare Rates

During OEP, it’s normal to see insurance agents resharing content from other carriers. But when it comes to creating content with a carrier’s logo, that can be a bit tricky. Some carriers will only allow you to add their logo after they’ve carefully reviewed your image, and that process could take weeks (even months).

Since we don’t have time to waste, we recommend utilizing our FREE personalized “ObamaCare Rates” video to promote a preestablished sample rate for a couple that lives in Dallas County, TX.

Note: This specific template is only available to agents that service the Texas area. If you’re outside of Texas and would still like a personalized “ObamaCare Rates” video, please send us an email at: marketing@enrollinsurance.com

On the subject line of the email type “ObamaCare Rates FREE personalized video” and in the body of the email please provide the following information:

-Agent name.

-National Producer Number.

-Email Address.

-Telephone Number.

-Website.

-Resident/State.

-CA (License).

-Preferred Language.

3) Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Day (or week) invites people to reflect about their own lives and to spend quality time with their loved ones. Many insurance agents will probably take advantage of the festivities by posting a photo of their family next to their banquet or feast. Although this action could potentially help you connect with your audience on a more personal level, it won’t necessarily bring you the type of engagement you’re looking for.

“For Thanksgiving social media posts to stand out, you need killer visuals that hook users in an instant”- Penji. The best way to promote our services and products during this time is to connect emotionally with our audience. With our Happy Thanksgiving video, you’ll be presenting a clear message that states your intention of helping the community with their health insurance needs.

4) Black Friday

What do people usually do when they are waiting hours upon hours to enter their favorite store during Black Friday?

Answer: They are endlessly scrolling through their phones!

Since your ideal audience might be online during this specific day, it’s the perfect opportunity to remind them to update their health insurance coverage with YOU.

5) Cyber Monday

Did you know? “The term Cyber Monday was dreamt up in 2005 by a marketing team at Shop.org, a division of the National Retail Federation”- Howstuffworks. Since then, it has become an unofficial holiday for consumers and retail giants. To get the best deals before they are gone, people usually login on their phones before going to work, during their coffee break or even during their lunch break.

Insurance Agents know that adding the words “free” and “low-cost” on their social media copy will captivate the attention of the shopaholics. If you’re planning on boosting your post or creating a specific ad, remember to include the following as detailed targeting keywords: Cyber Monday, Online Shopping, Best Deals, Health Insurance in the United States and Health Insurance Coverage in the United States. We also recommend our agents to either boost their Cyber Monday post or create an ad that would run for 24 hours.

We hope that our blog has helped you jumpstart your content calendar plan for the month of November. Remember to be on the lookout for next month’s social media tips and tricks.

Now that we are entering a spooky season, it’s time to revamp our creativity! If you want to be known as the “Pumpkin King” of Health Insurance, you’ll need to embrace the autumn aesthetic during the month of October. In other words, you must identify the key elements that might help you connect with your ideal audience and incorporate them into your content calendar plan. Let’s say that your ideal client likes to buy pumpkin spice lattes during the fall. The easiest way to pique their interest would be to create a content piece that includes this seasonal drink.

Nonetheless, we are not asking you to sprint towards the nearest coffee shop and take gazillion photos of the signature cup. Agility Agents know there must be real intent behind everything they publish on the web. If you’re an Insurance Agent that is ready to take your online presence to the next level, then we invite you to implement the following 5 content pieces created for the month of October.

1) Pumpkin Spice Latte

Most internet users have shared at least one image of their morning coffee online. And since we can expect to see the #PumpkinSpiceLatte hashtag trending again this year, we would be a fool not to prepare a social media post for our business page. If you’re utilizing our social media template, we recommend adding the following caption to your post:

If drinking coffee is part of your morning routine, then having a dental plan is also a must. Contact me for a FREE dental insurance quote today! (Add your phone number and/ or website). #PumpkinSpiceLatte

2) World Mental Health Day (October 10)

During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the term mental health became a trending topic online. According to Mental Health America, last year “over 5.4 million people took a mental health screen, representing a nearly 500% increase over the number of people who completed a screening in 2019”. Since consumers are actively seeking this type of service, it makes sense to create a content post for #WorldMentalHealthDay. If you’re utilizing our social media template, we recommend adding the following caption to your post:

YOU are not alone! If you need help finding a health insurance plan that covers mental health services, DM me or text me at (Add your phone number). #WorldMentalHealthDay

3) ACA Open Enrollment Countdown

It’s no secret that Healthcare Open Enrollment season starts November 1st. Even though this information is accessible online; many clients and prospects will not remember this fact. It is up  to us (Insurance Agents) to remind the community. The best way to achieve this is by publishing a few Countdown Posts on your social media business page. If you’re utilizing our social media  template, we recommend adding the following caption to your post:

In 3 Days: You’ll be able to enroll in a 2023 health insurance plan. Contact me for more details at:  (Add your phone number).

4) Live Streaming Video

Click here to get FREE access to the Live Streaming Video Social Media Template!

Insurance Agents that are looking to connect with their audience, on a more personal level, should consider running a live video stream online. Not only will you be able to answer questions from your followers in real time, but your live video content will have a higher-ranking priority on a user’s newsfeed. According to Facebook, “live videos on average get six times as many interactions as regular videos”.

Now, should you start incorporating live video streaming into your content strategy today?

Answer: Only if you can create an outline or a script! Here are some things you should consider before pressing the LIVE button→ The Must-Read Guide: Professional Facebook Live Streams.

5) Happy Halloween (October 31)

This year, October 31st lands on a Monday. If you’re going to dress up for the occasion, then sharing a selfie or a group photo online is a must. Just remember to wear a creative costume that will get your followers talking. The more you embrace your specific character, the more engagement you can expect to receive on your page. You might even consider creating a video Reel or TikTok highlighting the best moments of the day. But if you’re more reserved (camera shy), we recommend utilizing our Social Media Template.

We hope that our blog has helped you jumpstart your content calendar plan for the month of October. Remember to be on the lookout for next month’s social media tips and tricks.
