Now that we are entering a spooky season, it’s time to revamp our creativity! If you want to be known as the “Pumpkin King” of Health Insurance, you’ll need to embrace the autumn aesthetic during the month of October. In other words, you must identify the key elements that might help you connect with your ideal audience and incorporate them into your content calendar plan. Let’s say that your ideal client likes to buy pumpkin spice lattes during the fall. The easiest way to pique their interest would be to create a content piece that includes this seasonal drink.

Nonetheless, we are not asking you to sprint towards the nearest coffee shop and take gazillion photos of the signature cup. According to Mental Health America, last year “over 5.4 million people took a mental health screen, representing a nearly 500% increase over the number of people who completed a screening in 2019”. Since consumers are actively seeking this type of service, it makes sense to create a content post for #WorldMentalHealthDay. Insurance Agents that are looking to connect with their audience, on a more personal level, should consider running a live video stream online. Not only will you be able to answer questions from your followers in real time, but your live video content will have a higher-ranking priority on a user’s newsfeed. According to Facebook, “live videos on average get six times as many interactions as regular videos”.

5) Happy Halloween (October 31)

This year, October 31st lands on a Monday. If you’re going to dress up for the occasion, then sharing a selfie or a group photo online is a must. Just remember to wear a creative costume that will get your followers talking. The more you embrace your specific character, the more engagement you can expect to receive on your page.
